Mixed Vegetable Pickle Recipe

Ingredients:

Cabbage

Carrot

Potato

Cauliflower

Green Peas

Squash

lime – 7

Red chilli powder

Salt

Mustard

Cumin seeds

Fenugreek

Method:

1.Steam cook the vegetables without adding water in pressure cooker

2.Leave the vegetables to cool and place it on a dry cloth such that it absorbs water

3.Then transfer them on to a vessel add salt, chilli powder and lemon juice

4.Take a pan pour oil and heat it, add mustard, cumin seeds and fry

5.Now add this to the vegetables mixed previously

6.Add fenugreek to it, mix well and the pickles is ready

Fenugreek in tamil is called venthayam

Mustard in tamil is called kaduku

Prawns Vadai Recipe

Ingredients:

Prawns

Onion – 35 grams

Garlic – 6 grams

Ani seeds - 3 grams

Cloves – 3 grams

Cinnamon – 6 grams

Channa Dhal – 1 cup

Green Chilli – 4

Coconut pieces(big) – 5

Curry leaves, Corriander leaves

Salt

Oil

Method:

1.Take the prawns in a vessel and add water half a cup or more also add turmeric powder to it and leave it to cook

2.Take a pan add oil then add onions and garlic and fry well, keep it aside 

3.Then take ani seeds, cloves, cinnamon, channa dhal, green chilli, salt and grind the masala well, add finely chopped curry leaves and corriander leaves to the paste

4.After the prawns gets cooked well smash it well, add the paste, fried onions and garlic and coconut paste, mix all the ingredients well, make small balls, and pat it flat like making vadai

5.fry them in oil, and the recipe is ready.

Cinnamon in tamil is called pattai

Channa  Dhal in tamil is called pottukadalai
